Using book templates
You can now add custom templates to Collage.com book projects!
To find our template options, first create a book project and upload your photos. If you're not sure how, please see our book guide here.
Once you have you photos uploaded, you can select a theme from our book options by clicking .
This will allow you to choose which theme you'd like applied to your book. Don't want a theme? That's ok! Just click the Theme button again to close the menu and then you can manually design the book. Our book guide linked above can help with that.
For this example book, we're going to work with the Spring Family theme. Once that's selected, it'll apply the theme to the book, giving unique templates for each page that we can now click and drag our photos from "Project Content" to the open spaces.
You can click and drag the photos within the photo slots as well to get better positioning if needed.
Want to change a template on one of the pages? No problem. To change a page template, you first must zoom into the page by clicking by the page number.
This'll bring the page into view and a button will appear in the extended toolbar above the page. Click that to choose from the available templates.
You can also customize the templates further from the page view by clicking and choosing from our options there if you want to change the background.
Removing the Theme
Once a theme is added to a book project, it cannot be removed as a whole, but you can remove the templates from the pages so you can design it yourself.
To remove a page template, you first must zoom into the page by clicking by the page number.
This'll bring the page into view and a button will appear in the extended toolbar above the page. Click that and then click to remove the template.
You'll then be able to add photos, text, and backgrounds as desired.
